    First of all, I'd like to thank Kia for giving me a chance to write this. Writing it reminded me of the beautiful memories about my trip to Vietnam. 
     I'll start with how I managed to start traveling. I used to be a English teacher at a private academy in Korea. I am 100% Korean which means I am an Asian. From my point of view, living in Korea was quite boring. I had to work 6 days per week and the longest holidays is about a week. Everything is very competitive in Korea and the living cost is very high especially when it comes to purchasing a flat or something. Niyat Tesfai (Eritrea/Germany) 

I never thought I would be living abroad and never had the intention to. My parents are from Eritrea, but I was born and raised in Germany. I only knew Eritrea from summer vacations, so I had a limited understanding of what life in 3rd world countries was really like. When I was 12 years old, my Mom decided to move back to her motherland for multiple reasons. But really she just always wanted to move back as soon as there was peace. When my life at Thammasat University began, I got to meet many students from different schools, different provinces, and different countries! One of my close friends at that time introduced me to some of the exchange students, whom he had been hanging out with, from Germany. It was the first group of exchange students that I met.
